2011 Southside Introductory Clinic
9/21/2011
On Wednesday, September 28 at 5:45 pm, Coach Adam will host a free introductory clinic at Mitchell Education Center on the south side of Des Moines. This clinic will focus on basic skills: catching, throwing, cradling, and scooping. This clinic is open to boys currently in sixth grade through adult.
This clinic is geared towards high school and middle school students on the southside of the metro, including Lincoln, Norwalk, Carlisle, and Indianola. But the session is open to
anyone that wants to learn the game.
Summer Youth Program participants are welcome as well. Everybody should bring something to drink and wear comfortable athletic clothing and athletic shoes or soccer/football/lacrosse cleats.
At this time there will be two experienced adult players running the clinic. Players that currently have their sticks should bring them as there are a limited number of sticks available for use. If interest is high enough, this clinic may be extended for additional weeks. The clinic is schedule to run for about an hour.
To ensure that we have enough balls available, please
contact Coach Adam by Tuesday if you wish to attend or have any questions. Experienced players interested in helping and/or participating should also contact Coach Adam.
